A little preparation makes everything smoother:

• Remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle.
• Leave about one quarter of a tank of fuel.
• Turn off any alarms and remove toll tags if possible.
• Fold in mirrors and secure or remove items like racks, antennas, or loose accessories.
• Check for any leaks or mechanical issues.
• Take clear photos of the car from multiple angles before the driver arrives.

The driver will also inspect the vehicle with you and record the condition on the Bill of Lading at pickup.
